Contained within each and every Candle of The Oculatum is a single random phrase, taken from the book known as "The Oculatum 636 Book of Choices," that may or may not come to view during the lighting process. This is much reminiscent of the way the originators of the text imbedded such phrases in the mortar of their buildings so that the good words would perhaps benefit and protect all that was within and offer hope and comfort. It was of no consequence that the phrase would be seen, only that it was known to be there.

The Candle of The Oculatum is based on the same research used to create the publishing phenomenon known as "The Oculatum 636 Book of Choices". This simple book may offer for the attentive reader a clarity, strength and awareness in their daily life, but it will change all read it. Over a six day period it is suggested the reader view and recite six separate phrases without the requirement to remember, understand or comprehend the words, only that they be read. It is only on the sixth day that the reader decide if there has been benefit or not and what choice should be made.
