Read carefully prior to lighting

Failure to observe these suggestions may result in hazard or injury. Ensure wax surface is free of all debris, matches or wick trimmings, or any flammable material. Please place the candle on a stable heat resistant surface away from drafts. Ensure candle is out of reach from children and pets. Please ensure candle is in view and attended at all times. Ensure wick is trimmed to 1/8 inch prior to lighting. Burn candle for no more than three hours at one time. Burn progress should be checked regularly.  Please do not move candle whilst burning or if wax is still hot. Ensure candle is completely extinguished after burning. Please discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.

The Candle of The Oculatum is made to the highest standard of purity and quality and is unlike the more common or ordinary. On first lighting, you may note, a translucent layer will form on the surface area. This may take several hours to occur and on subsequent lighting this time may be reduced. Within this layer the various aromatics combine and commingle to create their sensory destiny. This interplay will evolve and expand throughout the lighting period and you may note subtle changes in prominence of fragrant fullness. The candle is not scent centered and you will note that the sensory impact is ethereal and pervasive. The complexity and unusual nature of the fragrant formulations are such that they belie the resulting simple satisfaction they create.

Please take great care to extinguish the candle after use, snuffing the wick completely or alternatively submerging the wick in the liquid layer. Always confirm the candle is fully extinguished.
